Your household inventory is private by default.
This page summarizes the product’s current privacy design. A final legal privacy policy will be published before commercial launch.
What QR labels contain
A BoxCue label contains a random opaque URL. It does not contain item names, photos, addresses, email addresses, user IDs, household IDs, or database IDs.
Who can see inventory
Detailed containers, items, notes, and photos require an authenticated household membership. Supabase Row Level Security enforces that boundary in the database.
Photos
Inventory and profile photos are stored privately and delivered through short-lived authorized URLs. They are not placed in a public media bucket.
Marketing and analytics
BoxCue will not send Label tokens, authenticated paths, item names, or household identifiers to marketing analytics. Any future analytics provider requires a separate privacy review.
Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent through the Support page while the formal support address is being established.
